Sweden through the years
Almost every summer we travel to Sweden to spend time with family and friends. We have been anywhere from Åhus in the south to Piteå up north. We visit Mormor's house in Katrineholm, where one can see ridges and rocks left over from the Ice Age and "Jättens handfat", The Giant's Sink, which is a lake made by a block of ice remaining from the same time period. There are also quite a few ancient remains like a living space from the Stone Age and hieroglyphs left behind. |

When we don't visit friends and family, we are doing some sightseeing. We have seen "Sommar på Skansen" in Stockholm, the Wasa Museum and gone for a walk in "Pelle Svanslös" city, Uppsala. Two times we’ve been to "Astrid Lindgren Värld" and in Dalarna we have been to the artist "Carl Larsson's" house and the "Zorn Museum" in Mora. "Eskilstuna Zoo" is something we visit on a regular basis, and we have also seen the famous Dolphin Show at "Kolmården Zoo". |
